Puppies Room (0 - 2 Years)
The Puppies Room is a warm, safe and nurturing environment designed for babies and toddlers aged 0–2 years. The room includes a sensory area with changing facilities, a calm corner, home corner, sleep room and access to a secure outdoor garden. Each area is carefully planned to support children’s learning, development and wellbeing through play-based experiences and secure relationships.
The sensory room encourages exploration through textures, colours, sounds and sensory resources, helping children develop curiosity, communication and emotional regulation. The changing area supports children’s care routines in a calm and respectful environment, promoting secure attachments and communication with practitioners.
The home corner allows children to explore familiar experiences through role play, encouraging imagination, language development and social interaction. The calm corner provides a quiet space where children can relax, self-regulate and feel emotionally secure. The sleep room offers a peaceful environment where children can safely rest according to their individual routines and needs.
The outdoor garden provides opportunities for fresh air, physical activity and exploration of the natural world. Children can climb, crawl, balance and investigate different textures and materials, supporting confidence and physical development.
